Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actress. She is best known for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well on ABC's Lost television series. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio left high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite financial struggles she managed get her first significant performance in the video online series Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's principal character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 as well as sharing a Screen Actors Guild Award (with other cast members) alongside her. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue an even more prominent role in films, having appeared opposite Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The following year, she starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. Her role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern adaptation from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was Shannon once more in the show's finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she was a guest in the sixth episode of Californication. She portrays Faith as a groupie, and also a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She's a Gyllenhaal, the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), as well as more senior than Jake Gyllenhaal. In her early teens, she played small parts in her father's movies and she co-starred alongside her twin brother on Donnie Darko the cult classic. Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win an Golden Globe Award in both the drama Sherrybaby (2005) and in the romantic comedy Secretary (2002). Both films received acclaim from critics.
