Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other theatrical performances. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. The love she has for singing, music and the arts keeps her involved in local activities in both her capacity as an artist and instructor. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, through her sharing of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially in the younger generations, for keeping this music in the present.
